Here at Rehab in Spain – New Life Addiction we treat many types of drug addiction. The most common are; Cocaine and Crack, Heroin and Methadone, Barbituates, Benzodiazepines, Solvents, Buprenorphine, Benzodiazepines, Cannabis and Skunk, MDMA, Ketamine, Prescription Drugs, Amphetamines, Tranquilisers and Opiates.
At Rehab in Spain – New Life Addiction we work with a mixture of group and individual therapy. Each having a place in a client's personal growth. We do however work mostly in a group situation as we feel that this is the best way for the affected person to step away from isolation. A sense of belonging outside of using drugs and becoming part of a group of like minded people, purposely seeking recovery is the beginning of the recovery process.
The path of recovery would not be complete, of course, without the addict being able to pass on something of their own recovery to the person still suffering from active addiction. Even in the first few weeks of treatment this is an important and necessary part of the program. As an isolated individual it is almost impossible to recover from the illness of addiction but joined together in a common goal millions of addicts have not only recovered but gone on to live fulfilling, purposeful lives, and so can anyone.
