Methods
Our treatment programme at New Life Addiction – Rehab in Spain is based on the 12 step model with our own unique style and methods.
Our approach over the years has many satisfied and now happy clients whom we keep in contact with (they actually usually just call us to say ‘hi’). We incorporate the Minnesota model of treatment with our own counseling and care.
Myself and Dominic’s many years of experience in the field of addiction therapy and the fact we are both in recovery has proven over time to be effective and successful.

We always welcome the contribution of family members in our process. Sometimes families come to visit their loved ones at our centre.
We hopefully can at least communicate as it suits families either by email, letter or phone and we have found it an enormous tool in our therapy.
This process is helped along by group therapy, step assignments, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, anger management, peer evaluations, one-to-one counseling, relapse prevention, family therapy, nutritional guidance and medical lectures from our doctors who are experts in the field of addiction.
Whilst in treatment it is an essential part of our program to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, which we will arrange. Our clients really look forward to this weekly occurrence as the meetings are in Malaga itself which is on the seafront.
Getting Ready To Graduate
We will do everything within our power to organise any recommended ongoing treatment, i.e. secondary care, further counseling and attendance at self help groups.
It is important to note that we offer 24 hour help to our clients via telephone.
Also for as long as is needed we will be just a call away. We will never love you and leave you.
Graduation
This is a very big day for any client successfully completing their treatment programme.
We make this is a special day by acknowledging the fact that this may just be the first time that person has completed anything really meaningful before.
A great sense of achievement is felt and we all celebrate this.
We have a special ceremony where the client is presented with a certificate of completion and a token of recognition.
At no extra charge and for life for all ex-clients, family members and friends we offer and encourage continued support when you leave New Life Addiction – Rehab in Spain. No other rehabilitation centre that we know of offers this aftercare for free.
In a nutshell we will never ‘Love you and Leave you’!
